Northwest Hardwoods is the premier Hardwood Lumber producer serving furniture, cabinets, molding, and millwork segments worldwide. We operate manufacturing facilities throughout the United States. We have an immediate opening for a full-time Lumber Handler I.
Handling, sorting, and stacking rough-cut lumber by dimension, species, and grade
Working in open warehouses and keeping work areas safe and clean
Physical ability to safely transfer lumber from the production line to the lumber cart.
Banding runners to lumber packs.
Keeping work areas safe and clean.
Basic paperwork knowledge
Responsibilities include:- Handling, sorting, and stacking rough-cut lumber by dimension, species, and grade
- Working in open warehouses and keeping work areas safe and clean
- Physical ability to safely transfer lumber from the production line to the lumber cart.
- Banding runners to lumber packs.
- Keeping work areas safe and clean.
- Basic paperwork knowledge
- High school or GED equivalent, or 18 years of age
- Four 10-hour shifts 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM Monday - Thursday
