• Assist the Store Team Leader with managing payroll budgets, expenses, store banking, shrink reduction, and timely completion of related reports.
• Ensure store standards, Redbook compliance, and company programs meet all operational expectations.
• Maintain the front‑end, entrance, and exterior of the building.
• Ensure that all Associates are assigned daily tasks and are productive.
• Organize and maintain office areas.
• Support the Door to Floor process and merchandising initiatives.
• Complete the monthly Operational Risk Assessment (ORA) and alarm test; follow up on corrective actions.
• Lead monthly safety meetings with store Associates and assess meeting outcomes.
• Ensure all customer service standards meet company expectations.
• Implement price changes as necessary per company requirements.
• Coach, train, evaluate, supervise, and schedule store Associates.
• Open and close the store when needed.
• Provide leadership regarding donation programs and Ollie’s Army sign‑up and membership.
• Maintain proper hiring, recruiting, interviewing, selection, and onboarding of candidates.
• Complete any additional responsibilities and/or duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1–2 years retail supervisory experience in a mid‑size to large retail or service‑oriented business.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays on a regular basis.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Professional management skills and sound judgment.
• Ability to preserve confidentiality of information.
• Accuracy and attention to detail.
• Organizational and prioritization skills with strict time frames and deadlines.
• Knowledge of industry terms and processes.
• Effective communication and delegation skills.
