Junior Staff Accountant

Base pay range

$26.00/hr - $34.00/hr

Ledgent Finance & Accounting is actively seeking a Junior Staff Accountant to join their growing accounting team in North Palm Beach. This position is perfect for candidates who have entry-level accounting experience or are currently completing their degree and/or undergrad degrees. The role offers significant growth opportunities.

• Perform journal entries, accounts receivables, accounts payable, and heavy bank reconciliations. Including reviewing contract terms for accuracy.
• Assist with balance sheets and gather data and information for accounting executives.
• Handle client facing processes, including tracking and entering payment information.
• Handle debits versus credits and participate in month-end processes.
• Conduct expense reporting and manage intercompany transactions.

• Experience with Quick Books is a plus / experience with accounting ERP's major plus
• Degree in accounting or currently working towards one.
• 2+ years of accounting experience.
• Basic proficiency in Excel.
• Ability to work onsite Monday through Friday.
