As we continue to grow, we’re seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Controller to join our leadership team and oversee the financial operations of the company.

• Oversee daily accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and the general ledger.
• Maintain integrity of the general ledger by ensuring proper use of P&L accounts and reconciling all balance sheet accounts.
• Lead annual budgets and rolling forecasts in coordination with leadership.
• Develop and enforce internal controls to reduce risk and safeguard company assets.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
• Manage cash flow, budgets, and forecasts to align with business needs and growth goals.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax filings, and regulatory requirements.
• Improve financial processes and internal controls to drive efficiency and accuracy.
• Partner with leadership to provide insights, recommendations, and financial strategies.
• Oversee inventory and cost accounting for appliance and plumbing product lines.
• Manage external relationships with auditors, banks, and key vendors.
• Lead and mentor finance staff to build capability and foster accountability.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or MBA preferred).
• 5+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience, with at least 2+ years in a Controller or senior accounting role.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.
• Experience in distribution, retail, or specialty trade industries a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
