DevOps Engineer

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Dev Ops Engineer is responsible for modernizing our integration, testing, and deployment systems. This role requires a highly motivated individual capable of working independently in a rapidly evolving technical environment. The ideal candidate will have a hybrid developer/system administration background.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Essential Duties:

• On-call 24/7
• The listed functions are examples; management reserves the right to modify work assignments as needed.

Qualifications:

• Experience building CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins).
• Experience with infrastructure management on bare metal, cloud, or hybrid environments (Azure, AWS, Open Stack, VMs).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for cross-team collaboration and organizational discussions.
• Understanding of web development technologies.
• Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.

Education:

BS in Computer Science or related field.

Physical Demands:

• Standing: 10% per day
• Sitting: 80% per day
• Walking: 5% per day
• Stooping: 5% per day
• Lifting up to 50 lbs. unassisted
• Computer work: 80% per day
• Telephone and reading: 10% per day each
