We are seeking an experienced Cloud Data Architect to lead enterprise data modernization initiatives, design scalable cloud data platforms, and establish architecture standards that support analytics, AI, and business applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement enterprise cloud data architectures, including data warehouses, lakes, and lake houses.
- Lead migration and consolidation of legacy data platforms into modern cloud environments.
- Develop data architecture standards, roadmaps, and best practices.
- Establish data governance, quality, security, and integration frameworks.
- Design scalable data integration solutions using APIs, event-driven architectures, and streaming technologies.
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to align data strategy with organizational objectives.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to engineering teams.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in data engineering, data architecture, or cloud technologies.
- Proven experience leading enterprise data platform modernization and migration initiatives.
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms such as OCI, Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Experience with relational databases, including Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata, or PostgreSQL.
- Understanding of data warehousing, lakehouse architectures, data governance, and integration technologies.
- Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Strong communication skills with experience influencing architecture decisions and working with senior leadership.
