OpportunityWe are currently seeking an Outside Sales Representative-Industrial to take responsibility for growing our local business region.
Sales territory: N. Palm Beach, FL;
Port St. Lucie, FL;
Stuart, FL;
Vero Beach, FL – (St. Lucie County and Martin County) and surrounding area. Candidate must live inside the sales territory.
The Outside Sales Representative is responsible for the overall relationship and management of day‑to‑day sales activities towards cabinet and furniture manufacturers, and residential and commercial woodworkers in his/her territory. You will engage in structured consultative sales discussions, both in person and virtually, ultimately serving as a business advisor towards your customers.
Responsibilities- Develop and maintain relationships with cabinet and furniture manufacturers, residential and commercial woodworkers, and other key customers.
- Conduct consultative sales discussions and provide business advising to customers.
- Plan and execute structured sales activities across territory.
- Track daily activity, plan and optimize sales calls using CRM.
- Maintain proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Travel in the field for in‑person visits 3–4 days per week.
- Meet sales targets and maintain or grow customer satisfaction.
- Perform occasional lifting/moving up to 50 lbs.
- Experience in outside sales within building materials or construction industries.
- Eager to learn, with a passion for providing solutions to customers and a drive to achieve successful sales growth.
- Knowledge or experience with building materials, bathroom or kitchen cabinetry, closets, millwork, or similar.
- Highly motivated, self‑directed, organized, and able to manage own time and responsibilities.
- Proficient use of CRM to track activity, plan, and optimize sales.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office:
Excel, Word, Outlook. - Own reliable transportation suitable for regular automobile travel.
- Full‑time position requiring field presence up to 4 days per week.
