ResponsibilitiesAs an Outside Sales Rep, you’ll understand Orkin’s products and services and how to sell them to a variety of industries. You’ll provide strategic recommendations to new and existing customers to help prevent pests, uphold quality, and meet regulatory standards. You’ll solve problems and build trusted relationships as a partner protecting their business.
- Prioritize safety in all responsibilities.
- Conduct yourself with the utmost professionalism and integrity with customers and coworkers.
- Serve as an empathetic problem solver for commercial customers by utilizing in‑depth training to recommend the best solution for each customer’s needs.
- Achieve sales goals through prospecting new business and assigned leads.
- Utilize marketing tools to drive new business development.
- Conduct an inspection of the interior and exterior of the customer’s commercial property.
- Make recommendations to customers based on your inspection and any identified issues, addressing questions and setting expectations.
- Use the iPad we provide to prepare sales agreements and stay organized.
- Estimated first‑year earnings: $65,000 to $110,000 USD annually.
- Base salary plus uncapped commission.

- No experience required (sales experience preferred).
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Ability to obtain the appropriate pesticide license/certification if required (company paid).
- Ability to work in the field independently and interact with clients.
- Safely use a ladder within manufacturer’s weight capacity.
- Occasionally lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Safely access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, rooftops, etc., including ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) which may require an OSHA‑compliant respirator.
- Willing to work in various weather conditions.
