North Platte, NE — ice Lake West, a self-performing general contractor building water and wastewater treatment plants in the Plains States and Colorado, has an immediate full-time, long-term opening for a Foreman.
Primary Function: The foreman is responsible for overseeing production as well as crew members and will take direction from the site superintendent in regard to scheduling and coordination of all other on-site construction activities, safety programs, and quality initiatives to deliver projects on time and under budget.
Educational BackgroundEducational Background: College degree in construction related field preferred - High School Diploma with experience accepted.
Practical KnowledgePractical Knowledge: Civil Construction Means & Methods, Math and Complex Calculations, Critical Thinking as it applies to the breakdown and interpretation of Specifications and Plans, Critical Path Planning, Material Scheduling, Data Analysis, Organizational Methods, Writing Skills, Leadership and Communication.
Work ExperienceWork Experience: Minimum 3-5 years relevant trade experience in a supervisory position on highway heavy, industrial, or commercial construction projects responsible for crew management, document review, and production - or - post-secondary study resulting in Construction Management or Civil Engineering degree with a minimum of 2 years experience running work.
