About Us:

At A Blessing of Hope, we believe people come first. Always.

Whether it’s the families we serve or the employees who choose to walk this journey with us, people are at the heart of everything we do. We are more than just a workplace; we are a community built on compassion, respect, and the understanding that everyone deserves to be seen, heard, and valued. Here, employees aren’t just a number, they are human beings, with real stories, real challenges, and real goals, and we care deeply about supporting both their personal and professional growth.

A Blessing of Hope proudly serves communities across Nebraska and Colorado, providing services that support family preservation, reunification, and the well‑being of children. As we continue to grow, so do the opportunities within our organization. With that growth comes new ways for our team to develop their careers, build their skills, and be part of meaningful work that strengthens families and transforms lives.

We don’t hire people to work for us – we invite people to work with us. Together, we strive to build safer, stronger communities where families can thrive and every employee feels appreciated, supported, and empowered.

Job description

Are you passionate about making a difference in families’ lives? Do you love working with kids and partnering with parents on their journey to become the best they can be? If so, we want you on our team!

At A Blessing of Hope Family Services, we’re committed to reunifying families across Nebraska and empowering parents and children to thrive. We’re looking for Family Service Specialists who are positive, compassionate, and driven to help families in need. With us, you’ll find a company culture built on support, encouragement, and appreciation for the hard work you do!

As a Family Support Specialist, you will supervise visits in the client home or out in the community. The families we serve have had children removed from the home and are living into foster placements.

During these supervised visits, you will provide engaging parenting skills assistance, help to strengthen a family’s bond, and in‑the‑moment redirection and parent coaching in order to promote the safe and successful reunification of families.

You will be an advocate for the families, setting goals with the assistance of the caseworker and families, documenting progress, and providing transportation for the children.

What You’ll Do
  • Support Family Goals:
Work closely with families and the Department of Health and Human Services to help them reach goals set by their caseworker.
  • Visit Facilitation & Transport:
Facilitate visitations between children and their families, providing safe and reliable transportation to and from visits.
  • Documentation:
Maintain accurate and unbiased reports of each visit.
  • Resource Assistance:
Help families find and apply for resources that support their path to reunification and well‑being.
Why You’ll Love Working with Us

    Starting at $22 per hour
  • Mileage Reimbursement: 55 cents per mile.
  • Drive Time Pay: $18 per hour. (Must be willing to drive 1.5‑2 hours one way for some cases)
  • Hours:
