Mavis Tire, part of the Mavis Tire family, is looking for full‑time Automotive Mechanics to join our state‑of‑the‑art automotive service and retail tire sales centers in the Venice, FL area. With more than 2,000 retail locations, Mavis is one of the largest tire sales and automotive repair chains in the United States.

As a leader in undercar repairs, you will inspect, diagnose, and perform a wide variety of automotive services on customers’ vehicles. Your responsibilities include undercar repairs such as brakes, struts and shocks, completing state‑mandated inspections, changing oil and filters, checking fluids, replacing worn parts, and dismounting, mounting, rotating, and balancing tires.

Required:

• Minimum 18 years of age.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
• At least 2 years of experience and/or training in automotive repair and maintenance, or a combination of education, training, and experience that demonstrates ability to perform job duties.
• Extensive personal tool set used in undercar repairs.

Preferred:

• State inspection license(s).

  Automotive Maintenance and Light Repair (G1), Suspension and Steering (A4), and Brakes (A5).

Physical Requirements:

Stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, climb, pull, reach, and perform repeated and repetitive movements. Lift and/or move items weighing over 50 pounds.
