We are seeking an experienced CEI Senior Inspector to support a variety of transportation and infrastructure projects in the North Port, FL area. The role involves performing highly complex technical inspections to ensure compliance with plans, specifications and established standards on roadway, bridge, and other construction projects.

• Responsible for monitoring conformance to quality, performance, specifications and/or code requirements by performing inspection duties, field inspections and audit duties, and maintaining inspection records.
• Perform highly complex technical assignments in field surveying and construction layout, marking, and checking engineering computations, inspecting construction work, and conducting field tests.
• Coordinating and managing lower-level inspectors.
• Performing work under the general supervision of the Project Administrator.
• Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
• Responsible for setting own project deadlines.
• Provides on‑job training to new employees.
• Participates in punch lists, testing, and commissioning.
• Tracks quality assurance progress.
• Provides input to documentation for area and equipment turnovers.

• High School diploma or GED plus 4 years of experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
• U.S. Citizenship is required, due to the nature of the work.
• Valid U.S. Driver’s License required to visit project sites, clients, and other AECOM offices. Must pass a Motor Vehicle Records review.

• Four (4) years of CEI experience in roadway or bridge construction.
• CTQP Final Estimates Level I.
• CTQP Concrete Field Technician Level I.
• CTQP Concrete Field Inspector Level II (Bridges).
• CTQP Asphalt Roadway Level I.
• CTQP Asphalt Roadway Level II.
• CTQP Earthwork Construction Inspection Level I.
• CTQP Earthwork Construction Inspection Level II.
• CTQP Pile Driving Inspection.
• CTQP Drilled Shaft Inspection.
• FDOT Intermediate MOT.IMSA Traffic Signal Inspector Level I.
• Nuclear Radiation Safety.
• Florida Stormwater, Erosion, and Sedimentation Control Training and Certification Program for Inspectors and Contractors.

Spending for US employment authorization is not available now or in the future for this position. Relocation is not provided. Offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The range for this position is $30 to $45 per hour.
