AECOM is actively seeking a highly skilled CEI Senior Inspector to join our team and support ongoing construction engineering and inspection efforts in the North Port, FL area. This role will ensure that major transportation and infrastructure projects are delivered in accordance with FDOT standards, contract requirements, and overall project objectives.

• Perform highly complex technical assignments in field surveying and construction layout.
• Marking, checking engineering computations, inspecting construction work, and conducting field tests.
• Coordinate and manage lower level inspectors.
• Work under the general supervision of the Project Administrator.
• Use experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
• Set own project deadlines.
• Provide on-the-job training to new employees.
• Monitor conformance to quality, performance, specifications, and/or code requirements by performing inspection duties.
• Perform daily field inspections and maintain inspection records.
• Participate in punch list, testing, and commissioning.
• Track quality assurance progress.
• Provide input to documentation for area and equipment turnovers.

Minimum Requirements:

• High School Diploma plus 6 years of experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Valid US Driver’s License; must pass a Motor Vehicle Records review.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Four to six years of CEI experience in roadway or bridge construction.
• CTQP Final Estimates Level I.
• CTQP Concrete Field Technician Level I.
• CTQP Concrete Field Inspector Level II (Bridges).
• CTQP Asphalt Roadway Level I.
• CTQP Asphalt Roadway Level II.
• CTQP Earthwork Construction Inspection Level I.
• CTQP Earthwork Construction Inspection Level II.
• CTQP Pile Driving Inspection.
• CTQP Drilled Shaft Inspection.
• FDOT Intermediate MOT.
• IMSA Traffic Signal Inspector Level I.
• Nuclear Radiation Safety.
• Florida Stormwater, Erosion, and Sedimentation Control Training and Certification Program for Inspectors and Contractors.

Compensation: $31 to $49 per hour, based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location.
