We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer with approximately 2 years of experience to join our engineering team and support the development of new products from initial concept through production launch.
This is a hands-on opportunity for an engineer who wants exposure to the full product development lifecycle, including design, prototyping, testing, manufacturing, and product launch.
Key Responsibilities- Support the design and development of new mechanical products from concept through production.
- Create and modify 3D models, assemblies, and detailed engineering drawings.
- Develop prototypes and work with engineering teams to test and improve designs.
- Perform engineering analysis and help identify and resolve design issues.
- Work closely with Manufacturing to ensure designs are practical and production-ready.
- Support Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) activities.
- Assist with product testing, validation, and qualification.
- Troubleshoot issues identified during prototype builds and production.
- Work with suppliers and manufacturing partners on components and production requirements.
- Support Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) and maintain accurate product documentation.
- Participate in new product introductions (NPI) and production launch activities.
- Collaborate with Electrical, Manufacturing, Quality, and other engineering teams.
- Help transition products from engineering prototypes into full-scale production.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Approximately 2 years of mechanical engineering experience.
- Experience with product design and development.
- Strong understanding of mechanical components, materials, and manufacturing processes.
- Experience with 3D CAD and engineering drawings.
- Experience working with prototypes and testing.
- Understanding of DFM/DFA principles.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work in a hands-on, collaborative engineering environment.
- Experience taking a product from concept through production launch is highly preferred.
