This position will be responsible for scheduling appointments, updating demographic information (address, phone, insurance), determining eligibility for the sliding fee discount program, check‑out, and cashiering. Employee will be expected to report to work in a timely manner and begin work at the appointed time. The employee will have a positive attitude and display excellent customer service skills in all interactions with internal or external customers.
RequiredKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including MS Outlook, WORD and EXCEL
- Basic knowledge and application of office machines and equipment, including computer, copier, telephone, and fax
- Ability to adapt to new tasks and/or situations
- Ability to manage a variety of responsibilities in a timely, efficient manner
- Ability to prioritize tasks
- Valid driver’s license
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Obtains Incident Command System (ICS‑100) certification within 60 days and National Incident Management System (IS‑700) certification within 90 days of employment
- Completes the Family Planning Title X mandatory trainings within 30 days of employment
- Experience working in a clinical setting
- Experience verifying insurance coverages

The successful candidate will be required to complete the Form I‑9 and that information will be verified using the E‑Verify system. E‑Verify is operated by the Department of Homeland Security in partnership with the Social Security Administration to verify employment eligibility.
Incumbents may be required to perform emergency duty before, during, and/or beyond normal work hours or days.
