- Health Support Functions
- Clinical Preparation:
Prepare clients for clinic visits by accurately recording height, weight, temperature, and medical history. - Bilingual Client Support:
Provide Spanish translation services to clients with limited English proficiency. - Assist Physicians:
Support physicians during patient care, treatments, and procedures; ensure equipment readiness and sterilization post‑procedure. - Clinic Coordination:
Maintain efficient clinic operations by preparing exam rooms and guiding clients through their visits. - Inventory Management:
Monitor and manage medical supplies to uphold clinic operations. - Laboratory Support:
Collect, label, and process specimens for laboratory analyses. - Documentation and Reporting:
Prepare reports to ensure compliance with state programs and assist in specialized treatments. - Clerical Support Functions:
Appointment scheduling using the HMS system and administrative support for referrals and follow‑ups.
- Proficient in clinical settings processes
- English/Spanish bilingual
- Advanced knowledge of laboratory procedures
- Proficient in phlebotomy
- Proficient with electronic medical records
Minimum:
- One year of clinical experience in a medical facility
- One year of phlebotomy experience
- English/Spanish bilingual, written and oral proficiency
Preferred:
- Experience working in an OB/GYN clinical practice
