WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
  • Maintain a strong presence on the floor to build relationships with customers, support and develop the team, and drive revenue.
  • Serve as a role model and resource for store staff regarding products and services, policies and procedures, industry news, and changes in regulations.
  • Drive sales to meet and exceed targets. Assist the Store Manager in meeting financial goals, including management of the P&L, payroll, and store budgets.
  • Prepare for and support company-driven promotions and launches to meet sales targets and deliver the best customer experience.
LEADERSHIP & EDUCATION
  • Continuously train, coach, and provide qualitative feedback using performance management processes to improve team engagement and performance.
  • Provide training to ensure store processes align with Standard Operating Procedures, safe practices, cannabis knowledge, and customer service goals.
OPERATIONS
  • Oversee the store’s daily presentation including visual direction.
  • Read, interpret, and communicate messages from Corporate Store Operations and take action, including updates to bulletin boards and other communication channels in store.
  • Manage staff time: timekeeping, scheduling, and creating store schedules. Partner with the Store Manager to ensure staffing supports exceptional customer service.
  • Organize the back-of-house areas, including managing the supply budget, inventory oversight, and stock levels.
  • Conduct audits and maintain accurate records of activities, enforce a culture of compliance with state and local regulations applicable to cannabis retail.
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

Required

  • Age 21 or over
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid government-issued photo
  • 1–2 years of supervisory experience
  • Microsoft Office Suite proficient to advanced level
  • Flexible with work schedule (including evenings, weekends, holidays)
  • Strong attention to detail; ability to multitask, plan, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence others
  • Demonstrated independent, strategic thinking and business acumen; ability to analyze sales data and create action plans

Preferred

  • Proven operations, retail, and cannabis industry experience
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position
  • Ability to assist with lifting stock and materials
  • Routine use of standard office equipment (computers, phones, etc.)
  • Occasionally positions self to retrieve product or materials
  • Slower or faster-paced workflow depending on store needs; willingness to adapt
  • Collaborative and team-oriented approach
