National Express LTD invites applicants for the School Bus Driver role. This position involves transporting students safely and on time, ensuring their well‑being and readiness at school.

All applicant drivers begin as Driver in Training
, receiving comprehensive training to obtain a commercial driver’s license (CDL) and related endorsements. Successful completion leads to a Professional Driver role.

• Provide safe and reliable transportation by operating a school bus or location‑specific vehicle with a fixed or changing route.
• Exhibit ethical best practices and personal integrity; report any suspicious or inappropriate behavior to supervisors or managers.
• Report to duty on time and maintain routes on schedule while ensuring safety.
• Assist passengers in evacuation during emergencies.
• Immediately report any accidents or incidents per company policy.
• Follow company policy regarding student and passenger management.
• Inform appropriate personnel of any problems or procedural changes.
• Maintain a neat and professional personal appearance at all times.
• Complete required paperwork (route change sheets, time cards, vehicle repair requests) and submit in a timely manner.
• Maintain a cooperative attitude with colleagues, supervisors, customers and passengers while promoting company goodwill.
• Safely and efficiently use vehicle equipment, including wheelchair lifts, radios and emergency equipment.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• Must be at least 21 years of age (25 for Tennessee School Bus Drivers per state law).
• Must possess or be able to obtain all valid applicable state licenses and other required certifications.
• Must meet physical and medical requirements and pass substance‑abuse screening.
• Must successfully complete all training.
• Practice defensive driving at all times, avoiding vehicular and industrial accidents.
• Comply with all applicable federal, state and contract‑specific driver requirements.
