Phlebotomist​/Receptionist

The Practice is looking for a friendly, reliable, and detail-oriented Part-Time Receptionist / Phlebotomist to join our team.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with patients and can confidently balance front-desk responsibilities with phlebotomy duties.

• Greet patients in a warm and professional manner
• Answer phones, schedule appointments, and assist with patient check-in/check-out
• Verify patient information and insurance as needed
• Process and follow up on prior authorizations for medications, procedures, and services
• Coordinate, process and track patient referrals
  , including obtaining required insurance authorizations and documentation
• Collect and process payments
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Perform venipuncture and specimen collection accurately and safely
• Properly label, handle, and prepare specimens for processing
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception and clinical area
• Maintain patient confidentiality and follow all applicable safety and privacy guidelines
• Assist the clinical team with additional administrative duties as needed

• Previous phlebotomy and/or medical office experience preferred
• Phlebotomy certification preferred/required, as applicable
• Excellent communication and customer-service skills
• Comfortable interacting with patients of all ages
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
• Comfortable using computers and electronic medical/appointment systems

• Part-time: 24-30 hours per week
• Schedule: Monday-Friday
• Pay:Competitive based on experience
