Job Overview

As a Field Merchandiser, you'll work independently to showcase your organization and time management skills, establish retailer relationships, and act as the face of Hallmark. You collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement, maintain inventory levels, and support fellow team members with seasonal resets and installations when needed. You may also work with other products from other companies in the stores you service.

and Schedule Details
  • Your starting hourly pay rate will be $15.00 - $17.00 depending on your skills and experience.
  • Eligible employees receive annual pay increases.
  • This is a part‑time position with a variable schedule during the work week.
  • Average weekly hours are 12‑15 hours per week.
  • Availability the week before and after major holidays (which may include weekends) is required.
Role and Responsibilities
  • Day‑to‑day engagement:
    Using a mobile device provided by Hallmark, restock, organize, and monitor Hallmark product inventory within and outside the Hallmark department. Communicate with your supervisor, report time, provide feedback, and answer required surveys. Interact professionally and courteously with store employees, management, and customers; you are responsible for the entire Hallmark product display at assigned stores.
  • Holiday support:
    Provide additional service during holidays such as Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. May require work on the actual holiday or weekends.
  • Department resets:
    Assist with installations, relocating card departments, and resetting card sections. Typically notified two weeks in advance; may work evenings or weekends.
  • One Team Vision:
    Support other merchandisers as needed across territories.
Physical Requirements

This is a physically demanding job that requires a high level of energy and a sense of urgency. You will work on the selling floor and in back stockrooms, consistently pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying cartons, merchandise, and display fixtures up to 30 pounds daily and up to 50 pounds occasionally. You must kneel, squat, walk, stand, and may climb stairs and step ladders.

Basic

Qualifications
  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Ability to read, write and understand English.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Proficient with a digital handheld device to open and read documents.
  • Access to Wi‑Fi network and internet.
  • Reliable transportation to travel between assigned stores on schedule.
