Position Description

Seeks out and bids on projects typical of Company's business lines. Establish and maintain excellent working relationships with new and existing customers. Manages overall performance of assigned projects from start to finish. Supervises and coordinates activities of supervisors and workers while demonstrating a commitment to safety, teamwork, and quality work. Reviews job specifications, inspects work sites, and confers with contracting agent to evaluate removal projects.

Position Responsibilities

• Builds relationships with past clients such as Consultants, Contractors, Facilities representatives, Governmental agencies, Railroad companies, etc., to promote the Company's services.
• Follows up on relationships and works to secure projects for the Company in all open opportunities.
• Seeks out and develops business relations as potential clients for the Company.
• Develops, submits, searches for and follows up on bid leads from various sources including those from iSqft, Blue Book and other lead sources.
• Walks projects, creates bids, assists with pre‑project set‑up, pre‑job documentation, and post‑project documentation.
• Provides project management for acquired projects as well as for assigned projects.
• Attends pre‑bid meetings, pre‑construction meetings, construction progress meetings and gathers project information as needed on own projects and directly managed projects.
• Assists other Company offices as assigned; typically to walk projects for other estimators/project managers and provide project management for jobs that originated from other offices.
• Other similar management and business development tasks.

Physical Activities

Talking; sitting; typing; entering data, often in small print. Occasional walking, climbing stairs; exposure to hazards typical of construction sites.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

Occasional utilization of: steel‑toed footwear; earplugs; protective eyewear; hardhat.

Preferred Education

High School Diploma or College Level Degree;
Bilingual English/Spanish; OSHA 30; CPR/First Aid Certification;
Proficiency in estimating software; 3-5 years in estimating demolition or construction projects.
