Hours
:
Saturday & Sunday 9:30 am – 10:00 pm;
Wednesday & Thursday 1:15 pm – 9:45 pm.
The Medical Lab Scientist performs and demonstrates proficiency in chemical, bacteriological, serological, and microscopic procedures within one or more laboratory sections. The role requires maintaining accurate records of performance, patient results, and quality control, as well as equipment upkeep and assistance with laboratory training programs.
Responsibilities- Perform chemical, bacteriological, serological, and microscopic procedures in one or more laboratory sections.
- Maintain records of performance, patient results, and quality control.
- Maintain and record preventive and remedial maintenance of equipment.
- Assist with laboratory training programs as required.
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- Certification required:
Medical Laboratory Scientist, Certified Medical Lab, Certified Lab Technologist, Clinical Laboratory Scientist, American Medical Technologist. - At least one year of experience in a hospital setting preferred.
