Role Description The Quality Assurance Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in North Richland Hills, TX. This role is responsible for monitoring and verifying product and process quality, including incoming inspections, in-process checks, and final product reviews for aerospace fasteners and related hardware. Daily tasks include maintaining and updating quality documentation, supporting adherence to certification requirements, conducting internal audits, and assisting with corrective and preventive actions.
The specialist collaborates with operations, purchasing, and customer service teams to address quality issues, ensure compliance with industry standards, and support continuous improvement initiatives. Additional responsibilities include preparing quality reports, participating in training related to quality procedures, and helping maintain alignment with Sey Tec’s quality management system and customer expectations.
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Quality Control and Quality Assurance to ensure products and processes meet established standards.
- Candidates should possess skills in Quality Management, including familiarity with structured quality systems and continuous improvement practices.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and related regulatory or industry compliance requirements.
- Candidates should possess experience with Quality Auditing, including conducting internal audits and supporting external audit activities.
- Experience in aerospace, aviation, or industrial distribution environments is beneficial.
- Knowledge of ISO
9001, AS9100, or similar quality standards is preferred. - Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to interpret technical specifications and documentation are required.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in an on-site team environment are essential.
- An associate or bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (such as Quality, Engineering, or Industrial Technology) or equivalent experience in quality-related roles is preferred.
