Base pay: $17.32/hr

• Maintain the security and safety of the hospital, its staff, and its patients and visitors, serving as a visible deterrent to illegal activities on hospital property.
• Provide supervision for at‑risk patients in the hospital environment.
• Perform other job‑related duties as assigned.

• Completed high school diploma or GED.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain any applicable licenses or certifications.
• Strong vision abilities (color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, ability to adjust focus).
• Must be able to stand and/or walk for an entire shift, move or lift objects up to 80 lbs., help restrain or lift a person.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet company driving guidelines if applicable.
• Previous work experience in a public service setting (desired).

Work hours will vary depending on assignments, client schedules, project deadlines, and the needs of the company. Workweeks may exceed 40 hours and may involve any of the 7 days of the week. The work environment may be fast‑paced and stressful or quiet and slow‑paced, requiring alertness and performance under pressure. The employee must be able to sit, stand, walk, use hands to handle objects, reach with arms, climb stairs, stoop, kneel, crouch, and lift or move objects 25 lbs.
