• Responsible for operating the Extrusion equipment and preparing products for further processing.
• Continuously monitors equipment during production to ensure quality and smooth operation of all equipment.
• Responsible for all aspects of production equipment to include set up, operation, maintenance. troubleshooting and minor repairs.
• Troubleshoots and resolves a variety of mechanical problems of low to moderate scope and complexity on the equipment.
• Works with equipment that has electrical systems, electronic components, and industrial machinery and equipment. Must have the experience using tools.
• Analyzes and solves minor electrical and mechanical problems on processing and packaging equipment and assists manufacturing personnel on process related problems.
• Refers more complex problems to the Maintenance team
• Coordinates activities with peers, supervisors, and management to minimize equipment downtime.

• 3+ years of demonstrated experience in equipment set up, operation and troubleshooting
• 3+ years of experience working in a manufacturing environment
• Strong troubleshooting and mechanical thinking skills
• Ability to handle physical workload lifting 50 pounds unassisted
• Must have moderate physical strength to tear down and set up the mechanical equipment.
• Trade school certification or education is a plus
• Strong electro-mechanical troubleshooting abilities
