Leasing Consultant

Position Overview:

Banyan Living is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Leasing Consultant to join our team. As a Leasing Consultant, you will be responsible for showcasing our properties, building relationships with potential residents, and facilitating the leasing process from inquiry to move-in.

• Greet and engage prospective residents, providing them with a tour of the community and models
• Understand and identify the needs of potential residents, recommending suitable apartments based on their preferences
• Manage the leasing process, including applications, background checks, and lease signing, while ensuring compliance with Fair Housing regulations
• Follow up with potential tenants to enhance conversion rates, maintaining accurate logs of communication
• Assist in the development and implementation of marketing strategies to attract qualified leads
• Participate in resident retention efforts and community events to foster a welcoming environment
• Support the management team with administrative tasks and provide feedback on market trends

• Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings
• Prior experience in leasing, sales, or customer service is preferred but not required
• Familiarity with property management software and proficiency in Microsoft Office is a plus
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
