• Advocate of Empathy: understand the importance of empathy and create human connection with residents during their most vulnerable moments.
• Patient Observer: discover residents’ interests, abilities, and what makes each resident who they are; collaborate to create appropriate engagement plans and implement strategies with patience to ensure success.
• Master of the Mise en Scène: set the stage for a successful day by preparing environments such as dining rooms, libraries, and resident rooms.
• Life Partner: partner with residents to achieve all facets of daily life from the moment they wake to the moment they go to sleep.
• Excellent documenting of resident care and changes in condition.
• Assist with orientation of team members assigned to memory care neighborhoods.

• At least eighteen (18) years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English with residents.
• Positive and energetic attitude toward residents.
• Computer skills to print documents and enter resident information.
• Active, capable of standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping all day.
• Ability to lift or move items up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, walking, and assisting after a fall.
• Criminally cleared.
