Lunar Tool & Mold, a third-generation precision manufacturing firm at the forefront of Ohio’s aerospace industry, is seeking experienced Tool and Die Makers / Mold Makers to join our team in playing a critical role in crafting precision components that power aerospace innovation, ensuring the tooling we create meets the highest standards demanded by our global clientele. We're hiring Level 2 and Level 3 skilled trades professionals who take pride in precision workmanship and enjoy working on challenging, custom manufacturing projects.

Operating since 1965, we bring nearly six decades of expertise in designing, engineering, machining, and manufacturing high-precision tools and molds for defense contractors and aerospace firms across the United States. Our state-of-the-art facility in North Royalton, OH, is equipped with top-tier technology, including Southwest/Bridgeport Bed and Knee mills, Makino EDMs, and cutting-edge CNC tooling from Makino, Mitsubishi, Hwacheon and Hyundai.

• Build, machine, fit, and assemble precision molds, dies, and tooling components for aerospace applications.
• Operate manual machining equipment, including mills, lathes, grinders, and drill presses.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and mold designs.
• Machine precision components to tolerances of ±0.001', as required.
• Fit and assemble molds, ensuring proper function and accuracy.
• Collaborate with engineering, CNC, and EDM teams on tooling requirements.
• Review inspection results and make necessary adjustments to meet specifications.
• Operate and troubleshoot wax injection press equipment as needed.
• Manage assigned tooling projects to meet quality standards and customer deadlines.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
