Leasing Consultant

Position Overview:

Banyan Living is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Leasing Consultant to join our team. As a Leasing Consultant, you will be responsible for showcasing our properties, building relationships with potential residents, and facilitating the leasing process from inquiry to move-in.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and engage prospective residents, providing them with a tour of the community and models.
• Understand and identify the needs of potential residents, recommending suitable apartments based on their preferences.
• Manage the leasing process, including applications, background checks, and lease signing, while ensuring compliance with Fair Housing regulations.
• Follow up with potential tenants to enhance conversion rates, maintaining accurate logs of communication.
• Assist in the development and implementation of marketing strategies to attract qualified leads.
• Participate in resident retention efforts and community events to foster a welcoming environment.
• Support the management team with administrative tasks and provide feedback on market trends.

Qualifications for the Leasing Consultant position include:

• Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
• Prior experience in leasing, sales, or customer service is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with property management software and proficiency in Microsoft Office is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• A positive attitude, professionalism, and a team-oriented mindset.
