Dietary Aide FT/PT (Food Services)
General PurposeThe dietary aide's assignments are determined based on the activity of the shift. He/she reports to the Cook and Dietary Supervisor.
Essential DutiesThis job has no supervisory responsibilities.
QualificationsEducation and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent.
Language SkillsAbility to read technical procedures and follow recipes. Effectively communicate with managers and staff.
Mathematical SkillsApply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions.
Reasoning AbilitySolve practical problems and interpret instructions in various formats.
Certificates, Licenses, RegistrationsMust obtain and maintain a food handler's certificate.
Physical DemandsStand and walk frequently, sit occasionally, reach, push/pull, talk, hear, taste, smell, and lift up to 50 pounds regularly. Occasional climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. Good vision and focus are required.
Work EnvironmentWork is performed in a low to moderate noise environment. Reasonable accommodations are available for individuals with disabilities.
