Overview

Liquid Lifestyles is currently seeking year-round swim instructors. Liquid Lifestyles is the most recognized and respected swim school in Cleveland. Our coaching staff is comprised of the very best swim educators in the business, each chosen for their unique combination of personality, experience, education and most importantly, their outstanding character! We are expanding our team of coaches who demonstrate exceptional communication skills, are passionate about continuing education and enthusiastic about all things swimming.

We provide extensive training, support and professional development so come ready to learn as well as teach.

What does a Liquid Lifestyles swim coach do?

Liquid Lifestyle coach provides in-water instruction in both private lesson and small-group class formats for learn-to-swim children (ages 6 mos. & up), adult beginners, competitive age-group swimmers, and triathletes. Positions are year round.

25+ hours per week with consistent weekly schedule

$22 starting wage based on relevant experience and required education

• Provide clients with leading-edge instruction using Liquid Lifestyles proven techniques.
• Deliver personalized improvement plans and clearly defined performance expectations to clients.
• Initiate, develop and maintain positive relationships with clients.
• Demonstrate motivational, energetic and professional delivery of instruction via verbal communication and demonstration.
• Embody the Liquid Lifestyles values of excellence and professionalism.

• Consistency, reliability and punctuality is mandatory.
• Evenings (3-8PM) and Weekends (Saturday and/or Sunday) required.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree required.
• Education focus in Education, Communication, Sport Management, Exercise Science or similar is a plus.
• Must be competent in freestyle, backstroke, and breaststroke.
• Ability to tread water in 6  deep water for two minutes using only legs and surface dive to object at 6  depth without goggles.
• Swim or other coaching experience AND competitive swimming background is required.
