A welcoming primary school in North Shields are looking for an enthusiastic Room Leader to create a warm, supportive, and engaging environment for little learners - a place where every child feels valued and every day is an opportunity to grow.
Responsibilities- Overseeing daily operations within the pre-school room, ensuring a safe, nurturing environment
- Leading a team of childcare professionals, providing guidance, support, and inspiration
- Developing creative, play-based learning programmes that spark curiosity and promote development
- Building strong relationships with parents
- Keeping accurate records and ensuring compliance with all health and safety standards
- Supporting the professional growth of your team
- Experience in early childhood education or childcare (2+ years preferred)
- A passion for working with young children.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- An enhanced DBS check(or willingness to obtain one).
- A relevant qualification in early childhood education or childcare (preferred, but not essential)
