  • Monitor, record and evaluate pupil progress through success ratings and daily records
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records using systems such as Class Charts and CPOMS (full training will be given)
  • Develop positive relationships with pupils to build confidence, self-esteem and motivation
  • Support pupils in developing independent learning, organisational and study skills
  • Work collaboratively with pastoral teams, teaching staff and SEND colleagues to meet individual pupil needs
  • Contribute to behaviour plans and provide feedback to parents/carers where appropriate
  • Ensure safeguarding, attendance and administrative processes are followed

We are looking for someone who:

  • Demonstrates strong judgement, clear decision-making, and emotional resilience
  • Is warm, approachable, and understanding, while also being firm and consistent
  • Can identify underlying factors influencing behaviour and respond appropriately
  • Is organised, proactive, and able to manage a varied workload
  • Has excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Is committed to supporting all pupils to succeed, including those with SEND

School-based experience is not essential - full support and training will be provided.
