Teaching Assistant (Full Time, Temporary)

£480 - £500 per week (salary depends on experience and/or qualifications)

September 2026 – July 2027

We are looking for an EYFS Teaching Assistant to work in a primary school in North Shields. This full‑time role is due to begin in September and will continue until July. Hours of work:
Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 3:30 pm.

Working within the team, the desired Teaching Assistant will support children across the provision, helping to create a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment.

The successful candidate must hold a full and relevant Teaching Assistant qualification and have recent experience working within a Primary setting. A strong understanding of child development, safeguarding, and supporting children with a range of needs is essential.

• Experience of working with pupils with SEND
• A passion for the progress of primary school pupils

• QTS within the UK
