Main duties of the jobAs a Housekeeper at Akari Care, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the residents’ rooms and all communal areas. You will coach and support the domestic and laundry teams, ensuring the correct staff resources are available and prioritising resident care. The goal is to provide a clean, healthy environment that respects and values the residents.
Commitment to policies and procedures is required to deliver the highest standards. Candidates should demonstrate a passion for elderly care, team leadership experience, and adaptability to varying needs, with a caring and respectful approach.

- Experience of working within a similar environment
- Housekeeper/Team leader experience required
- A caring nature with ability to give everyone a personal approach
- Flexible and adaptable to changes at short notice
- Strong work ethic with solution‑based approach to problem solving
- Work well under pressure without negative impact to those around you
- Warm, approachable, and engaging persona
