About the Role
As Head of Service at HC‑One, you will put kindness first, ensuring residents receive nutritious meals and a caring environment across our Dementia, Nursing, Residential and Specialist Care homes.
Responsibilities- Prepare and serve nutritious meals and dessert items for residents.
- Maintain food safety, hygiene and cleanliness standards.
- Monitor supply levels, fridge/freezer temperatures and maintain records.
- Train new staff on equipment and procedures.
- Communicate with residents and colleagues in a considerate manner.
- Kitchen experience mandatory.
- Knowledge of Food Safety Act 1990, Health & Safety at Work Act 1974, RIDDOR, COSHH regulations.
- Excellent record-keeping and organisational skills.
- Ability to follow recipes accurately.
- Excellent communication, kindness, and customer‑service orientation.
- Full training will be provided.
