Process Operator

Our client, an innovative manufacturer of sealing technologies based in North Shields, is looking for a reliable and motivated Process Operator to join their team on a full-time, temporary basis.

This is a hands-on role within a manufacturing environment, with full training provided from day one. We welcome applications from people who are keen to learn, committed to working safely, and ready to become part of a supportive production team.

As a Process Operator, you will play a key part in supporting day-to-day factory operations. You will receive full training to operate machinery safely and efficiently while working closely with colleagues to ensure production runs smoothly.

• Operating factory machinery safely and in accordance with training and company procedures

• Carrying out manual handling tasks, including lifting, as required by the role

• Supporting general production and factory operations

• Working on your feet for extended periods throughout your shift

• Following all health and safety procedures and reporting any concerns promptly

• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work area

To be successful in this role, you will:

• Be physically able to carry out the manual handling tasks required

• Be available to work 37 hours per week

• Be flexible and willing to work a rotating shift pattern, including early mornings and night shifts

• Be comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

• Be reliable, punctual, and committed to working safely

• Have a positive attitude and be willing to learn new skills
