Practice Nurse

We are currently seeking an experienced Practice Nurse to join friendly and well-established GP Practice in North Shields on a temporary basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled nurse looking for flexible working arrangements with competitive hourly rates.

As a Practice Nurse, you will play a key role in supporting the GP team and delivering high-quality patient care within a primary care setting. You will be responsible for a range of nursing duties and clinics to support the ongoing health and wellbeing of patients.

• Delivering routine nursing care within a GP Practice setting
• Running chronic disease management clinics (e.g., asthma, diabetes, COPD)
• Administering immunisations and vaccinations
• Cervical screening (smears)
• Wound care and dressings
• Health promotion and patient education
• Maintaining accurate patient records and adhering to clinical protocols

• Registered Nurse with valid NMC registration
• Minimum 1 years' experience working within a Primary Care / GP Practice setting
• Experience with chronic disease management and routine practice nurse duties
• Strong communication and patient care skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

• Competitive hourly rate of £32.00 - £40.00 per hour
