Fire Alarm Service Engineer

Location: North East of England (Static Site)

Johnson Controls is hiring a Fire Alarm Service Engineer for a static role at a key industrial site in the North East. We’re looking for an experienced engineer in fire detection systems who is keen to develop skills in gas suppression. You’ll join a dedicated on‑site team delivering maintenance and servicing of fire alarm and suppression systems, ensuring safety and compliance at all times.

Daily interaction with the client is part of the role to maintain smooth site operations.

• Service and maintain fire alarm systems
• Complete accurate on‑site documentation
• Attend training and toolbox talks
• Liaise with site contacts for permits to work
• Support occasional passive fire tasks
• Provide out‑of‑hours call‑out cover (rota)
• Identify and report safety or compliance risks
• Follow site‑specific safety and quality rules
• Represent Johnson Controls professionally

• Experience servicing fire detection systems and panels
• Willingness to train in gas suppression systems
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Team player with a positive, professional attitude
• Full UK driving licence
• Flexibility to travel for training when required
