Position: Citizens Teller

Citizens Teller – Citizens

Description Starting Salary: $19 / hour and up

As a Citizens Teller
, you will make a meaningful difference for our customers and the branch team. You’ll greet customers in our lobbies, demonstrate how to use our mobile app or ATMs to complete simple transactions, and provide personalized advice to help them achieve their financial goals. Your knowledge of Citizens products will educate customers and allow you to respond effectively to questions and concerns.

All financial policies and procedures, including proper cash handling and state/local regulations, will be followed.

Required Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Minimum 6 months experience processing cash and/or digital transactions
  • Minimum 1 year of demonstrated customer experience, including product recommendations and referrals
  • Strong listening and communication skills
  • Ability to ask questions, identify needs, and develop long‑term customer relationships
  • Problem‑solving skills and ability to provide solutions to customer issues
  • Customer‑centric focus to deliver exceptional service
  • Comfortable using digital technology to support business goals
  • Availability to work branch hours, including weekends and evenings
  • Qualified candidates will complete a video interview assessment within 7 days of the link receipt.

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • 1 year of experience processing cash and/or digital transactions
  • Motivates others through collaboration
  • Process‑oriented, energetic, detail‑oriented, and able to multitask effectively

Hours & Work Schedule

  • Hours per week: 30
  • Work schedule varies with branch needs, may include weekends and evenings
