JOB DESCRIPTION
TITLE:
Classroom Teachers
QUALIFICATIONS: R. I. Certification as Elementary, Middle, or Secondary School Teacher (as appropriate)
REPORTS TO:
Building Administrator(s)
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
School Year. Salary and other conditions as per contractual agreement with School Committee
EVALUATION:
Evaluation annually in accordance with provisions of the School Committee Policy on Evaluation
JOB GOAL:
To lead students toward the fulfillment of their potential for intellectual, emotional and psychological growth and maturation
RHODE ISLAND PROFESSIONAL TEACHING STANDARDS:

Standard 1: Teachers create learning experiences using a broad base of general knowledge that reflects an understanding of the nature of the communities and world in which we live.
