Ampersand Therapy is hiring a Special Education Paraprofessional in the North St. Paul, MN area for the  school year. These Paraprofessionals will be working in a Transition Program supporting students ages 18-22 as they gain independent living and employment skills.

• Position: Special Education Paraprofessional
• Transition Program (ages 18-22)
• Full-time positions (30 hours of paid time a week)
• Support students working on independent living skills and employment skills
• Must be comfortable assisting with personal cares for adult students
• Assist in implementing student IEP, 504 Plans, BIP, and sensory plans
• Work under the direction of a licensed teacher

• Associates Degree or equivalent, or 2 years post secondary and at least 60 completed credits OR
• Paraprofessional Credential through Minnesota Department of Education (such as passing score on Para Pro or Para Educator Assessments or credentialed on the PELSB rubric)
• Clean driving record - van/bus training preferred
• Previous experience working in the school setting preferred

• Pay: $25-26/hour
• W-2 employment
