Pine Woods Animal Hospital is seeking a compassionate and collaborative Associate Veterinarian to join our dedicated team in North Tonawanda, NY! Our commitment to cooperative care training includes working closely with a local positive reinforcement trainer to ensure patients receive behavioral support tailored to their needs.
Our unique two-building format allows us to double our diagnostic capabilities , offering flexibility, efficiency, and seamless service to our patients and clients.
Our modern practice is powered by aviMark software and equipped with cutting-edge tools including digital radiography , dental radiology , and in-house ultrasound . We also maintain a full-service surgical suite , robust dental capabilities , and an endoscopy unit -empowering our team to perform a wide range of primary care services and procedures .
We're proud of our collaborative approach to internal medicine, working closely with local referral clinics and benefiting from the expertise of a traveling internist who visits our practice regularly for advanced diagnostics.
Beyond Western medicine, we offer Eastern-based medical acupuncture, herbal supplements, and integrative therapies, allowing us to provide a well-rounded approach to patient health.
Additionally, we offer advanced care through a full-service rehabilitation department, including underwater treadmill therapy, medical manipulation, sports conditioning acupuncture and cold laser therapy

  • A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent

  • A passion for general practice, with interest in surgery, dentistry, or internal medicine a plus
