We're looking for a Payroll Specialist to support the delivery of an accurate, efficient and compliant payroll service while helping to ensure colleagues are paid correctly and on time.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong payroll knowledge who enjoys working closely with colleagues across HR, Finance and the wider business to provide a high-quality payroll service.
The roleWorking closely with Payroll, HR and Finance teams, you'll play a key role in supporting the day-to-day delivery of payroll operations.
You'll be responsible for:
- Processing payroll accurately and in line with agreed deadlines.
- Maintaining payroll records and ensuring employee data is up to date.
- Supporting payroll administration, calculations and adjustments.
- Investigating and resolving payroll queries in a timely manner.
- Completing payroll validation, reconciliation and audit checks.
- Ensuring compliance with payroll legislation, HMRC requirements and company policies.
- Producing payroll reports and supporting payroll-related analysis.
- Working closely with internal stakeholders to provide payroll support and guidance.
- Identifying opportunities to improve payroll processes and service delivery.
- Supporting year-end payroll activities and statutory reporting requirements.
We're interested in hearing from individuals with experience in payroll administration and delivery.

- Payroll Analyst
- Experience working within a payroll function.
- Strong understanding of UK payroll processes and legislation.
- Experience processing payroll and resolving payroll-related queries.
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in payroll systems and Microsoft Excel.
- A proactive approach to continuous improvement and excellent customer service.
Along with a competitive salary of £35,000 - £45,000 (depending on experience), we also offer:
- Bonus potential of up to 10%
- 25 days holiday rising with service, plus bank holidays
