Maths Teacher – Secondary (KS3–KS4 / KS5 opportunities)
We are working with a supportive and inclusive secondary school in North Tyneside to recruit a Maths Teacher for supply and long-term opportunities. The school has clear behaviour expectations, a strong academic focus, and a collaborative Maths department with established schemes of work.
This role suits a confident practitioner who can deliver structured, engaging Maths lessons and support pupils of mixed abilities to make progress.

£163 – £265.92 per day | PAYE | Depending on experience
Teach Maths across KS3 and KS4
KS5 opportunities available depending on experience
Deliver clear, well-paced lessons aligned to the curriculum
Differentiate to support a range of abilities
Maintain high standards of classroom behaviour and engagement
Work collaboratively within the Maths department
11–16 secondary school with a strong community ethos
Calm, purposeful learning environment
Supportive leadership and consistent behaviour systems
Well-resourced Maths department
Easily accessible via Metro, bus routes, and major roads
Suitable for candidates commuting from Newcastle, North Tyneside, or Northumberland
QTS, QTLS, or equivalent UK teaching experience
Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics
Confident classroom management skills
Flexible and reliable approach to supply or long-term work
Open to short-term, long-term, or permanent roles
PAYE only – no umbrella companies

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
