Family Health Wellbeing Partner
North Tyneside Children's Services was judged Outstanding across all five areas in November 2024 inspection. I inspectors recognised that "an exceptional early help service makes a significant difference for children and families who need support". This reflects our committment to delivering high-quality services that improve outcomes for children, young people and families.
The Emotional Wellbeing Team has a strong reputation across North Tyneside and plays a role in providing targeted Early Help support. As our innovative service continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Family Health Wellbeing Partner to join our team on a full time basis. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with experience of working within an Ealry help environment who is passionate about improving the emotional wellbeing and mental health of children and young people.
You will be committed to working collaboratively with families and partner agencies to achieve positive and lasting change.
Working alongside colleague s in Health and Education, you will provide targeted interventions for children, young people and their families where there are concerns relating to emotional wellbeing, mental health and linked behaviours. Support is delivered within the community through a combination of:
- Parent and Carer workshops.
- One-to
-One interventions. - Whole family support tailored to individual needs
You will work as part of a supportive and experienced team, with opportunities to contribute to the ongoing development of a growing and developing service.
About YouWe are looking for somone who:
- Has significant experience of working with a Early help or family support setting.
- Has a sound understanding of children's emotional wellbeing and mental health.
- Can build positive, trusting relationships with children, young people and families.
- Is creative, resilent and solution-focused in their approach.
- Works effectively in partnership woth colleagues across Health, Education and other agencies.
- Is committed to improving outcomes for children and families.
