Position: Sales / Service Advisor

We are seeking an experienced Sales and Service Advisor to join our client’s successful independent business in Newcastle, Tyne and Wear.

This role offers a fantastic opportunity for a skilled candidate to work in a customer-focused environment, combining sales, service support, and administrative responsibilities.

Benefits for the successful Sales and Service Advisor:

Basic salary up to £25,000 per annum
Bonus potential of up to £560 per month, with an OTE of £31,720
Full-time employment, Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm (37.5 hours)
No weekend working
Full training and ongoing support provided

Work within a well-established business with a strong reputation in the area Duties of the Sales and Service Advisor:

Deliver exceptional customer service at the counter, over the phone, and via email
Advise customers on a broad range of products and services, including taking orders accurately
Manage bookings for trailer hire, towbar fitting, and workshop services
Ensure stock is received, displayed, and maintained to maximise sales opportunities
Support workshop workflow coordination and provide timely updates to customers
Handle cash, banking, invoicing, and credit transactions with accuracy
Maintain administrative and filing systems according to company standards
Uphold Health & Safety guidelines and keep the working environment tidy and professional

Requirements of the Sales and Service Advisor:

Previous experience in a sales, customer service, or similar customer-facing role
Strong communication and organisational skills
Confident handling of sales transactions and basic administrative duties
Proactive approach to customer care and achieving sales targets
Full UK driving licence (essential)
Forklift licence is desirable but not essential; training can be provided
