We are a growing accounting firm seeking a full time, permanent Accounting Technician to join our team immediately.

• Minimum 3 years of bookkeeping and accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of Quick Books Online and/or Quick Books Desktop
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
• College or university education in accounting, bookkeeping, or a related field
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Experience with payroll and government remittances is an asset

• Process accounts receivable and accounts payable transactions
• Prepare and process payroll
• Reconcile bank, credit card, and loan accounts
• Prepare and file GST, PST, WCB, and source deduction returns
• Perform full-cycle bookkeeping and accounting functions
• Prepare month‑end and year‑end working papers
• Assist with the preparation of financial statements
• Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation
• Communicate with clients regarding bookkeeping and accounting matters
• Ensure deadlines are met and work is completed accurately and efficiently

$28.00 - $35.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
