Join a growing group of marine companies as their Financial Controller, managing intricate accounting operations. This position demands a hands-on approach to full-cycle accounting in a stable, in-person environment.

As a Controller, you will oversee day-to-day accounting, support financial reporting, and contribute to compliance activities.

Your role will include managing AP, AR, payroll, and ensuring timely financial statements for each entity. Effective multi-entity management and communication with operational teams will be vital.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage full-cycle accounting across various companies

• Prepare and post journal entries and adjustments

• Complete monthly reconciliations for bank and credit cards

• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting

• Support corporate tax filings and governmental compliance

Requirements:

• CPA or equivalent qualification preferred

• 5+ years of relevant accounting experience

• Proficient in Excel and accounting software

• Strong focus on accuracy and detail

• Experience in relevant industries, such as marine or transportation
