Our client is seeking a CPA with over 10 years of experience, specializing in advisory roles for a 20-month full-time contract. You will work closely with engineering teams and external advisors to shape the organization's tax strategies, ensuring their compliance and effectiveness. This position is central to decision-making processes and requires independent judgment on complex tax issues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead Canadian corporate tax compliance and advisory efforts

• Manage the SR&ED program from assessment to audit support

• Serve as primary finance contact for KPMG's annual audit

• Provide input on IFRS and US GAAP technical accounting

• Support transfer pricing governance and reporting

Requirements:

• CPA designation with 10+ years of progressive experience

• Hands-on SR&ED experience and US tax exposure

• Strong grounding in Canadian corporate tax

• Ability to communicate complex issues clearly

• CRA audit experience is a bonus
